The team is composed of the same production team and talented animator that created several successful short films, Stem Cell Stories, presenting fundamental information about stem cells.

Amy Hardie - Director/Producer

A documentary director/producer with several international awards, Amy Hardie graduated from the National Film and Television School with the BP Expo award for best UK graduation film. She set up the Scottish Documentary Institute in 2004 with Noe Mendelle, and Docspace, dedicated to increasing an audience for serious documentaries.

Dr Clare Blackburn - Science Producer

Dr Clare Blackburn is a group leader at the University of Edinburgh MRC Centre for Regenerative Medicine, with an active research focusing on development of the thymus. She is Director of Training and Outreach for European projects EuroSyStem and Optistem and project co-ordinator for the new EuroStemCell Project.

Dr Blackburn was Scientific Producer for the Stem Cell Stories films. She also initiated a host of outreach and public engagement activities.

Cameron Duguid - Animator

A graduate of the Edinburgh College of Art's animation programme, Cameron has directed A Stem Cell Story and Cell Culture, and his animations feature in all the Stem Cell Stories films. Cameron uses a variety of media and animation techniques in his work, including photography, cut-outs, stop-frame, drawn and multiplane animation.
